Hello! Welcome to my blog.

My name is Celina, and I’m a 22 year old psychology student from Canada. My goal with school is to get my Masters in Psychology and to become a Registered Psychologist.

I am a mental health enthusiast. I have personally been touched by suicide – therefore, speaking out against it is important to me.

On my blog, you’ll find a little about everything – makeup, beauty, fragrance, travelling, and maybe even a little about my personal life.

If you ever have any questions or suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them!

  1. So, since we’ve been conversing back and forth today, I thought “I should check out more of her blog!” No joke… I am a Psychologist too!!!! I graduated in 2012 with my Masters in School and Community Psychology. Before moving to Pittsburgh, I was working in the school system doing special education evaluations, and now since moving I’m back to practicing Child Psychology and doing actual therapy! No wonder we hit it off so well!!!!!

      • That’s a tough question. If I’m honest, it’s a tough career. You’ll have days/weeks where you stop and think, “what the F am I doing this for?” but then, and this is the BEST part… you’ll have those moments where you truly impact someone and truly change their lives for the better and you will remember exactly why you went into this field.

I have two tips. 1) know that you will not fix/help everyone. There are people who aren’t ready to be helped, and sometimes there is nothing you can do about it. 2) make sure you keep yourself healthy. Both mentally and physically. It’s so important. You need to take care of yourself first. You will cry, you will laugh, you will want to quit, and you’ll want to save the world all in one week. It’s okay. Just know that even just being there for someone is helping them, even if it’s in the smallest way possible.

      • Oh my goodness that you for your brutal honesty and for all that inspiration! I will take that with me for sure. I was a nursing student before switching gears but I definitely am passionate about mental health
